It traces the history of the region and the town, from the prehistoric era to the late Roman period. Then you will visit the Basilica of St. Andrew the Apostle, which has a seating capacity of 5,500 it is the largest Byzantine style church in Greece and the Balkans. It contains the relics of the apostle St. Andrew. The dome of the church is approximately 50m high. Twelve other domes surround the central dome, symbolizing Jesus and the twelve apostles.
